This 2 months old foal had reverse cone shape feet in all 4 hooves. It was born with correct feet and aquired this shape after a few weeks of stableing in soft bedding.
Here you can clearly see how the coronet is significantly wider than the ground part.
All the hooves also had underslung heels.
This is the same foot 5 months later after correct trimming and movement on firm ground. Note how much wider it got.
The walls at this stage are about vertical, rather than pushed in 5 months earlier.
Nice orientation of a hoof and no underslung heels anymore.
